The Reality of Tough Times

Psa 126:5 They that sow in tears
shall reap in joy.

The Reality of Tough Times

“They that sow in tears”

Neh 1:3 And they said unto me, The
remnant that are left of the captivity there in
the province are in great affliction and
reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is
broken down, and the gates thereof are
burned with fire.

Neh 1:4 And it came to pass, when I
heard these words, that I sat down and
wept, and mourned certain days, and
fasted, and prayed before the God of
heaven,

Ezr 10:1 Now when Ezra had prayed,
and when he had confessed, weeping and
casting himself down before the house of
God, there assembled unto him out of
Israel a very great congregation of men
and women and children: for the people
wept very sore.

The Reality of Tough Times (The Captivity)

Psa 137:1 By the rivers of Babylon,
there we sat down, yea, we wept,
when we remembered Zion.

Psa 137:2 We hanged our harps
upon the willows in the midst
thereof.

Psa 137:3 For there they that carried
us away captive required of us a
song; and they that wasted us
required of us mirth, saying, Sing us
one of the songs of Zion.

Psa 137:4 How shall we sing the
LORD'S song in a strange land?

Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole
creation groaneth and travaileth in pain
together until now.

Rom 8:23 And not only they, but
ourselves also, which have the firstfruits
of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan
within ourselves, waiting for the
adoption, to wit, the redemption of our
body.

The Reality of Tough Times

Joh 11:33 When Jesus therefore saw her
weeping, and the Jews also weeping which
came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and
was troubled,

Joh 11:34 And said, Where have ye laid
him? They said unto him, Lord, come and
see.

Joh 11:35 Jesus wept.

Joh 11:36 Then said the Jews,
Behold how he loved him!

Joh 11:37 And some of them said,
Could not this man, which opened the
eyes of the blind, have caused that
even this man should not have died?

The Reason For Tough Times

Psa 126:5 They that sow in tears
shall reap in joy.

Psa 126:6 He that goeth forth
and weepeth, bearing precious
seed, shall doubtless come again
with rejoicing, bringing his
sheaves with him.

Psa 30:4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye
saints of his, and give thanks at the
remembrance of his holiness.

Psa 30:5 For his anger endureth but
a moment; in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night, but
joy cometh in the morning.

Ezr 1:1 Now in the first year of Cyrus
king of Persia, that the word of the LORD
by the mouth of Jeremiah might be
fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of
Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a
proclamation throughout all his kingdom,
and put it also in writing, saying,

Ezr 1:2 Thus saith Cyrus king of
Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath
given me all the kingdoms of the
earth; and he hath charged me to
build him an house at Jerusalem,
which is in Judah.

The Reason for Tough Times

Joh 11:4 When Jesus heard
that, he said, This sickness is not
unto death, but for the glory of
God, that the Son of God might
be glorified thereby.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears
from their eyes; and there shall be no more
death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither
shall there be any more pain: for the former
things are passed away.

Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne
said, Behold, I make all things new. And he
said unto me, Write: for these words are true
and faithful.
