Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in
my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will
is present with me; but how to perform that
which is good I find not.
Rom 7:19 For the good that I would I do
not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Rom 7:20 Now if I do that I would not,
it is no more I that do it, but sin that
dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:21 I find then a law, that, when
I would do good, evil is present with
me.
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God
after the inward man:
Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my
members, warring against the law of my
mind, and bringing me into captivity to the
law of sin which is in my members.
Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who
shall deliver me from the body of this
death?
Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus
Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I
myself serve the law of God; but with the
flesh the law of sin.
The Battle that Exists in being a Doer
The Warfare that is Extensive in Being filled
With Delight
The Victory in Experiencing Deliverance
The Battle that Exists in being a Doer
Rom 7:21 I find then a law, that,
when I would do good, evil is
present with me.
Jas 1:22 But be ye doers of the word,
and not hearers only, deceiving your
own selves.
Jas 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the
word, and not a doer, he is like unto a
man beholding his natural face in a
glass:
Jas 1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and
goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth
what manner of man he was.
Jas 1:25 But whoso looketh into the
perfect law of liberty, and continueth
therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but
a doer of the work, this man shall be
blessed in his deed.
The Warfare that is Exstensive in being filled
with Delight
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God
after the inward man:
Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my
members, warring against the law of my
mind, and bringing me into captivity to the
law of sin which is in my members.
Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and
a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take
away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I
will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you,
and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye
shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Law Versus Grace
Rom_7:6 But now we are
delivered from the law, that
being dead wherein we were
held; that we should serve in
newness of spirit, and not in the
oldness of the letter.
Law Versus Grace
2Co_3:6 Who also hath made us able
ministers of the new testament; not of
the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter
killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
Law Versus Grace
Rom_2:29 But he is a Jew, which is
one inwardly; and circumcision is that
of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the
letter; whose praise is not of men, but
of God.
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none
righteous, no, not one:
Rom 3:11 There is none that
understandeth, there is none that
seeketh after God.
Rom 3:12 They are all gone out of the
way, they are together become
unprofitable; there is none that doeth
good, no, not one.
Rom 3:13 Their throat is an open
sepulchre; with their tongues they
have used deceit; the poison of asps
is under their lips:
Rom 3:14 Whose mouth is full of
cursing and bitterness:
Rom 3:16 Destruction and misery
are in their ways:
Rom 3:17 And the way of peace
have they not known:
Rom 3:18 There is no fear of God
before their eyes.
Rom 3:15 Their feet are swift to
shed blood:
Rom 3:19 Now we know that what
things soever the law saith, it saith to
them who are under the law: that every
mouth may be stopped, and all the world
may become guilty before God.
Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the
law there shall no flesh be justified in his
sight: for by the law is the knowledge of
sin.
Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty
wherewith Christ hath made us free, and
be not entangled again with the yoke of
bondage.
Gal 5:2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if
ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you
nothing.
Gal 5:3 For I testify again to every man
that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do
the whole law.
Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto
you, whosoever of you are justified by the
law; ye are fallen from grace.
The Victory in experiencing Deliverance
Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who
shall deliver me from the body of this
death?
Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus
Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I
myself serve the law of God; but with the
flesh the law of sin.
1Co 15:57 But thanks be to God, which
giveth us the victory through our Lord
Jesus Christ.
1Co 15:58 Therefore, my beloved
brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable,
always abounding in the work of the Lord,
forasmuch as ye know that your labour is
not in vain in the Lord.
