THREE GIFTS FROM GOD
2Ti 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by
the will of God, according to the promise of
life which is in Christ Jesus,
2Ti 1:2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved
son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God
the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
2Ti 1:3 I thank God, whom I serve
from my forefathers with pure
conscience, that without ceasing I
have remembrance of thee in my
prayers night and day;
2Ti 1:4 Greatly desiring to see thee, being
mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with
joy;
2Ti 1:5 When I call to remembrance the
unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt
first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy
mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in
thee also.
2Ti 1:6 Wherefore I put thee in
remembrance that thou stir up the gift of
God, which is in thee by the putting on of
my hands.
2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit
of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a
sound mind.
What he’s not given us
2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us
the spirit of fear; but of power,
and of love, and of a sound mind.
Jas 1:17 Every good gift and every
perfect gift is from above, and
cometh down from the Father of
lights, with whom is no variableness,
neither shadow of turning.
Jas 1:18 Of his own will begat he us
with the word of truth, that we
should be a kind of firstfruits of his
creatures.
The Gift of Power
2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us
the spirit of fear; but of power,
and of love, and of a sound mind.
Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power,
after that the Holy Ghost is come upon
you: and ye shall be witnesses unto
me both in Jerusalem, and in all
Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the
uttermost part of the earth.
The Gift of Love
2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us
the spirit of fear; but of power, and
of love, and of a sound mind.
Joh 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I
have chosen you, and ordained you, that
ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that
your fruit should remain: that whatsoever
ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he
may give it you.
Joh 15:17 These things I command you,
that ye love one another.
Joh 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know
that it hated me before it hated you.
Joh 15:19 If ye were of the world, the
world would love his own: but because ye
are not of the world, but I have chosen you
out of the world, therefore the world hateth
you.
The Gift of a Sound Mind
2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us
the spirit of fear; but of power, and
of love, and of a sound mind.
Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren,
by the mercies of God, that ye present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto
God, which is your reasonable service.
Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing of your
mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
