1Pe 5:1 The elders which are
among you I exhort, who am also
an elder, and a witness of the
sufferings of Christ, and also a
partaker of the glory that shall be
revealed:
1Pe 5:2 Feed the flock of God
which is among you, taking the
oversight thereof, not by
constraint, but willingly; not for
filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;
1Pe 5:3 Neither as being lords over
God's heritage, but being ensamples
to the flock.
1Pe 5:4 And when the chief
Shepherd shall appear, ye shall
receive a crown of glory that fadeth
not away.
1Pe 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit
yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you
be subject one to another, and be
clothed with humility: for God resisteth
the proud, and giveth grace to the
humble.
1Pe 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore
under the mighty hand of God, that he
may exalt you in due time:
1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon
him; for he careth for you.
1Pe 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil, as
a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking
whom he may devour:
1Pe 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the
faith, knowing that the same afflictions
are accomplished in your brethren that
are in the world.
1Pe 5:10 But the God of all grace, who
hath called us unto his eternal glory by
Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered
a while, make you perfect, stablish,
strengthen, settle you.
1Pe 5:11 To him be glory and dominion
for ever and ever. Amen.

Jesus went into Full Watch mode at the end of
His Ministry on Earth
Mat_24:42 Watch therefore: for ye
know not what hour your Lord doth
come.
Mat_24:43 But know this, that if
the goodman of the house had
known in what watch the thief
would come, he would have
watched, and would not have
suffered his house to be broken
up.
Mat_25:13 Watch therefore, for ye
know neither the day nor the hour
wherein the Son of man cometh.
Joh 7:6 Then Jesus said unto them, My
time is not yet come: but your time is
alway ready.
Joh 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but
me it hateth, because I testify of it, that
the works thereof are evil.
Joh 7:8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go
not up yet unto this feast; for my time is
not yet full come.
Watching was a weakness starting out in the
lives of the Disciples
Mat_26:38 Then saith he unto them,
My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even
unto death: tarry ye here, and watch
with me.
Mat_26:40 And he cometh unto the
disciples, and findeth them asleep,
and saith unto Peter, What, could ye
not watch with me one hour?
Mat_26:41 Watch and pray, that ye
enter not into temptation: the spirit
indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak
Apostle Paul in Full Watch Mode
1Co_16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the
faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Col_4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch
in the same with thanksgiving;
1Th_5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as
do others; but let us watch and be sober.
2Ti_4:5 But watch thou in all things,
endure afflictions, do the work of an
evangelist, make full proof of thy
ministry.
Heb_13:17 Obey them that have the
rule over you, and submit yourselves: for
they watch for your souls, as they that
must give account, that they may do it
with joy, and not with grief: for that is
unprofitable for you.
Watching & Waiting
Rom 8:22 For we know that the
whole creation groaneth and
travaileth in pain together until
now.
Rom_8:23 And not only they, but
ourselves also, which have the
firstfruits of the Spirit, even we
ourselves groan within ourselves,
waiting for the adoption, to wit, the
redemption of our body.
1Co 1:4 I thank my God always on your
behalf, for the grace of God which is
given you by Jesus Christ;
1Co 1:5 That in every thing ye are
enriched by him, in all utterance, and in
all knowledge;
1Co 1:6 Even as the testimony of Christ
was confirmed in you:
1Co_1:7 So that ye come behind in
no gift; waiting for the coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ:
2Th 3:3 But the Lord is faithful,
who shall stablish you, and keep
you from evil.
2Th 3:4 And we have confidence
in the Lord touching you, that ye
both do and will do the things
which we command you.
2Th_3:5 And the Lord direct your
hearts into the love of God, and into
the patient waiting for Christ.
Rom 8:24 For we are saved by hope:
but hope that is seen is not hope: for
what a man seeth, why doth he yet
hope for?
Rom 8:25 But if we hope for that we
see not, then do we with patience
wait for it.
