Joh 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in
them ye think ye have eternal life: and
they are they which testify of me.

Joh 5:40 And ye will not come to me,
that ye might have life.

1)There is Validity in Truth

2)There is Vanity and
Vexation in Sodom

3)There is Victory in Jesus

Gen 14:18 And Melchizedek king of
Salem brought forth bread and wine:
and he was the priest of the most
high God.

Gen 14:19 And he blessed him, and
said, Blessed be Abram of the most
high God, possessor of heaven and
earth:

Gen 14:20 And blessed be the most
high God, which hath delivered thine
enemies into thy hand. And he gave
him tithes of all.

Gen 14:21 And the king of Sodom
said unto Abram, Give me the
persons, and take the goods to
thyself.

There is Vanity and Vexation in Sodom

Gen 14:22 And Abram said to the king
of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto
the LORD, the most high God, the
possessor of heaven and earth,

Gen 14:23 That I will not take from a
thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I
will not take any thing that is thine, lest
thou shouldest say, I have made Abram
rich:

Gen 13:12 Abram dwelled in the land
of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the
cities of the plain, and pitched his
tent toward Sodom.

Gen 13:13 But the men of Sodom
were wicked and sinners before the
LORD exceedingly.

Sodom&Pride

Eze_16:49 Behold, this was the
iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride,
fulness of bread, and abundance of
idleness was in her and in her
daughters, neither did she strengthen
the hand of the poor and needy.

Israel to Host Prideland at
the Dead Sea June 2026

2Pe 2:6 And turning the cities of
Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes
condemned them with an overthrow,
making them an ensample unto those
that after should live ungodly;

2Pe 2:7 And delivered just Lot,
vexed with the filthy conversation of
the wicked:

2Pe 2:8 (For that righteous man
dwelling among them, in seeing and
hearing, vexed his righteous soul from
day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

2Pe 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to
deliver the godly out of temptations, and
to reserve the unjust unto the day of
judgment to be punished:

There is Victory in Jesus

Heb 7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of
Salem, priest of the most high God,
who met Abraham returning from the
slaughter of the kings, and blessed
him;

Heb 7:2 To whom also Abraham
gave a tenth part of all; first being by
interpretation King of righteousness,
and after that also King of Salem,
which is, King of peace;

Heb 7:3 Without father, without
mother, without descent, having
neither beginning of days, nor end of
life; but made like unto the Son of
God; abideth a priest continually.

Heb 7:4 Now consider how great this
man was, unto whom even the
patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of
the spoils.

There Is victory in Jesus

Mat 26:63 But Jesus held his
peace. And the high priest
answered and said unto him, I
adjure thee by the living God,
that thou tell us whether thou be
the Christ, the Son of God.

Mat 26:64 Jesus saith unto him,
Thou hast said: nevertheless I say
unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the
Son of man sitting on the right hand
of power, and coming in the clouds of
heaven.
